| With each appearance, Lisa works to ensure that she is meeting the needs of your campus or organization. Therefore, she is available to share her expertise, not only during her presentation but during her entire time at your campus or organization. |

Before the Presentation It is helpful for Lisa to understand more about your campus or organization and who might be in the audience. This will help her to tailor the program as much as possible to the concerns the audience may bring with them. A few questions that could be helpful to answer include:

During the Presentation Lisa's presentations run approximately one hour, including time for questions from the audience. Training sessions may be longer, depending upon your needs. Some of topics Lisa discusses can be rather emotional for audience members, particularly her talk, "Coming Out of the Refrigerator". Therefore, she recommends that trained staff, such as counselors or Residence Life central staff, be available to students who might need to talk afterwards. At the least, it is recommended that handouts on campus/local mental health resources be handed out to audience members. |

After the Presentation
If there are groups, such as peer educators or a committee, who wish to meet in
a small group setting to talk to Lisa, she is very amenable to this. Her
experience as a health educator, peer education advisor and educational speaker
may help your group with planning outreach events and addressing various health concerns. |
